Pakistan draws first blood

Pakistan beats India by seven runs using the D/L method. India chalked up a massive 328 but Pakistan’s top order batsmen Salman Butt and Shoaib Malik ensured that Pakistan ends up as the winning side. India did fought their way into the match by taking some quick mid-order wickets but Pakistan were always ahead of the D/L targets and thus won when bad light intervened. Pakistan leads the series 1-0. Second match will be played in Rawalpindi on Saturday.

Record-breaking win for the Green-Caps

What a brilliant win by Team Pakistan. After being down and out at 39/6 in the first session of the game, Pakistan recovered to beat India by 341 runs, in what was one of the most dramatic comebacks test cricket has ever seen. Go Pakistan Go!
